How do I book a table?+
Find a restaurant, tap Book a table, pick date + time + party size, enter your name + phone, and submit. We confirm with the restaurant within 15 minutes and text you the result.Do I need an account?+
No — you can book without signing in. Signing in lets you see your bookings in one place and get email receipts.How does Tamu make money?+
Diners use Tamu free, forever. Restaurants pay us for successful bookings and for paid promotion. Editorial lists are our opinion; paid placements are labeled.My booking wasn't confirmed — what happened?+
The restaurant may have been fully booked or unreachable. We'll text you with alternatives or a suggestion to reschedule. For urgent issues, email hello@tamu.app.Can I cancel a booking?+
Yes. Sign in, open your booking, and tap Cancel. Please give at least 2 hours' notice so the restaurant can give the table to someone else.My restaurant isn't on Tamu — how do I add it?+
Claim your listing if you can find it by searching. If you can't, email partners@tamu.app with the name and address and we'll add it within 24 hours.I run a restaurant — how do I update hours or menu?+
Claim your listing, then use the owner dashboard to edit anything. Changes are live within minutes.Is Tamu available outside Nairobi?+
Not yet. We launched in Nairobi (Westlands, Kilimani, Karen, Lavington, Parklands, CBD). Mombasa and Nakuru are on the roadmap.
